For Broken Note Sem created a world in which audio reactive visuals could live. In this world you can find a mix of generative and modeled visuals interacting and morphing with audio. These objects can easily be interchanged on the fly. And instead of fixed camera positions it’s main camera system is done by flying around in that world with a PS4 controller.
These visuals were all created in Max/MSP and run in realtime, although for a live tour we did capture all the scene’s so we have a Resolume content deck ready for other VJ’s to work with as well. All visuals were created for the new Broken Note album release ‘exit the void’.
